NUDURA Insulated Concrete Forms or ICF’s are Stay-in-place forms that offer you a variety of benefits when building your new home. The insulated concrete forms icfs consist of two panels of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) that are 25/8” in thickness, and connected together with our patented web system that is made of 100% recycled material. NUDURA Insulated Concrete Forms-ICFS are stacked, steel reinforced and then filled with concrete. NUDURA Forms are available in widths from 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 inches, along with a variety of form shapes to accommodate all types of building requirements and designs.

We stock the standard 6"size in our warehouses. This product has become very popular over the years because it can be used by carpenters, do-it yourselfers and masons. It can also be installed in cold weather. There are a number of concrete form manufactures around nowadays. We have chosen this brand due to features that other brands don't have. For instance, they have a folding design for easy shipping and moving around. The forms are 18" high which is conducive to a 9' wall height. The corners are reversible- no left or right. The plastic inserts are also designed to reduce load slumping. And , in our rent-all, we have the special wall braces that are required for the job. Visit the store and see our showroom display. We stock an inventory of cement blocks. The sizes range from 4" to 12". Concrete blocks are 16" long. You can either buy small quantities out of our yard or we can arrange with the manufacturer to have full house loads shipped directly to your site. (See attached photo). Generally, in this truckload situation, we need 2 or 3 days advance notice. We can calculate the number of blocks that you need including the corner blocks. We also stock the necessary cement and forming boards. If you need a contractor, you can refer to our "Contractor Referrals" section of our menu under " Foundations".

As you can see from the picture, we also can rent you the necessary scaffolding for the job. Our design department can figure out the size of block that you will require. There are a number of factors but the backfill height is one of the most important issues.

Steel Culverts (being discontinued)

With a multitude of sizes, shapes, coatings and materials options, Armtec’s corrugated steel pipe (CSP) and related products offer unparalleled versatility and flexibility in designing drainage solutions. In addition, corrugated steel pipe has distinct advantages over other materials because of its light weight, strength, ease of installation, low maintenance and adaptability to various field conditions.

CSP is manufactured from pre-coated steel coil, corrugated and formed into pipe. The range of coatings includes galvanized steel, aluminized steel type 2 and a polymer-laminated coating. Steel thickness and corrugation profile depend on the type of structure, height of cover and live load over the structure.

Corrugated Tubing Plastic

Big 'O' provides a complete range of drainage tubing products designed to collect and remove subsurface water in various situations. From solid to perforated, or perforated with sock we have a product application. We carry 4" perforated, solid, Hydro and Filtered. We also carry 6" perforated.

Plastic Culverts Boss 2000

BOSS 2000 is a dual-wall corrugated HDPE drainage pipe with a smooth inner wall to offer superior hydraulic performance for both storm sewers and culvert applications, ranging from diameters of 100mm to 900mm.

BOSS 2000 is offered in two product lines:
  • Municipal and highway storm sewer and culverts: 320kPa stiffness; certified to CSA B182.8 with the CSA logo; 6m lengths; bell and gasket joints
  • Resource road culverts: 210kPa – 260kPa stiffness; conforming to CSA B182.8 (no CSA logo); 9.5m lengths; plain ends
The pipe wall can also be factory perforated and fitted with a woven geotextile sock for use in subdrain or recharge drainage applications.

A wide variety of fabricated fittings certified to CSA B182.8 are available, as well as fittings necessary to tie in PVC pipe, such as Inserta-tees and SDR adapters.

Foundation Wrap
Platon

Platon foundation wrap keeps wet soil away from the foundation wall. Any moisture that may find its way past the membrane is carried to the foundation drain by the air gap drainage path. Platon Foundation Protector is commonly used to waterproof block walls, poured concrete walls, permanent wood, existing foundations and Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF).
