CRC Asphalt Shingles

We stock the CRC/ IKO brand of shingles. There are various lines within the brand to choose from. We stock the Superglass 25 -3 tab design and also the Biltmore line. Other styles are available with about one to two weeks lead time.

The CRC website has an on-line roof viewer. You can pick your siding/window colours and then try different colours of shingles on the roof! Go to the roof viewer.

Vic West Steel Roofing

There are a number of profiles to choose from but the SuperVic profile is the most common.

Our SuperVic profile gives you the classic look of standing seam in a cost-effective roofing solution. Four main ribs 3/4" (19 mm) high, coupled with stiffening beads on each low side of these main ribs, give triple protection and assure a snug fitting side lap. SuperVic's greater strength permits spans over 20" (508 mm), resulting in fewer supports and fasteners. This alone translates into an installation and material savings cost, making SuperVic the perfect choice for long term protection on a limited budget.

Sheets are custom cut to length and usually the 28 gauge thick is purchased. Steel roofing works best on higher pitched roofs and is best that the roofing does not line up with your deck railing when the snow comes sliding off! Many accessories are available for this product. Eavestarters

These 10' lengths of metal are not much but are very important. We are showing the galvanized variety in the illustration. We also carry aluminum eavestarter in two profiles in black, brown and white.

Protect your eave. Minimize fascia damage due to water leakage and also provide a guide for the water to drain into eavestroughs.

Eavestarters

Henry Eaveguard® Self-Adhered Shingle Underlayment is specifically designed to provide secondary waterproofing protection to shingles as well as prevent ice damage. It is composed of high-tack rubberized asphalt and glass fiber mat. Sand on the upper surface provides a slip-resistant working surface. Additionally, the lower surface has a split-release silicone release backing for ease of application. This is our most popular underlayment. The roll size is 3'x65'.

Coil Nails

Our quality coil roofing nails are electro-galvanized in a yellow zinc formula for exterior rust protection. Available in 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" lengths, our nails are compatible with all brands of coil roofing nailers.

Asphalt Shingles

All asphalt shingles have a fiberglass core now. There are only two Canadian manufacturers of asphalt shingles. The manufacturers are CRC/IKO and BP. There are a number of American shingles available in the market as well.
