There are a number of profiles to choose from but the SuperVic profile is the most common.

Sheets are custom cut to length and usually the 28 guage thick is purchased. Steel roofing works best on higher pitched roofs and is best that the roofing does not line up with your deck railing when the snow comes sliding off! Many accessories are available for this product. All asphalt shingles have a fiberglass core now. There are only two Canadian manufacturers of ashphalt shingles. The manufacturers are CRC/IKO and BP. There are a number of American shingles available in the market as well.
