If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or services.

1. Scope of Services

Cottage Country Building Supplies provides building materials, hardware, lumber, plywood, insulation, drywall, roofing, siding, paint and stains, doors, windows, bathroom fixtures, and related building supplies, along with home and cottage design, kitchen design, deck and dock services, a contractor referral directory, and related products, services, or information as described on our website or through our communications channels.

All offerings are subject to availability and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice. Product descriptions, pricing, and availability shown online (including on our online hardware store) are for general information and may differ from in-yard availability.

Unless expressly stated in writing, no information provided by us constitutes professional, legal, engineering, or other regulated advice. Product guides, design plans, and project recommendations are provided for general guidance only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services unless otherwise permitted by applicable law or with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

By using our services, you represent that you meet all applicable eligibility requirements.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

4. Orders, Deliveries & Payments

Orders, quotes, delivery scheduling, pricing, payment terms, discounts, and returns are governed by our Terms of Sale, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. Failure to comply with stated terms may result in cancellation, forfeiture of payments, or refusal of future service.

5. Credit and House Accounts

We may offer credit or “house” accounts to contractors, builders, and business customers on a long-term basis. Opening an account requires completion of a credit application, which is subject to review and approval by our credit manager. We may request business, contact, and financial information as part of this process. Contractor and trade accounts may be subject to additional written terms.

6. Home & Cottage Design and Kitchen Design Services

We offer home, cottage, deck, dock, and kitchen design services for a fee. Where our published design policy provides for a refund of the design fee upon purchase of project materials from us, that policy governs and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Design plans are intended to be used in connection with a construction project and are provided for general guidance; you remain responsible for verifying compliance with applicable building codes and for engaging any licensed professionals required for your project.

7. Contractor Referral Directory

Our website may list independent contractors and trades in categories such as electricians, plumbers, roofers, and general contractors. These businesses are independent of Cottage Country Building Supplies. We do not endorse, supervise, or guarantee the work of any listed contractor, and any agreement you enter into with a listed contractor is solely between you and that contractor.

8. Electronic Communications

By using our website or services, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including email and phone calls, subject to your preferences and applicable law.

Electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

9. Intellectual Property
